- About Me...
- I'm a Senior Director with a gourmet candle company and a Networking Marketing Professional (full-time) since 1998.
This industry has truly blessed me with complete freedom to work and play when we want and to spend time with the people we love, while achieving financial freedom and security has changed my life!
I live in Woodbridge, Virginia and share my lifes journey with my fiance' Roy Juers. We're fortunate to both work from home building our business and future together.
I attended school and grew up in Fresno, California living on a cattle and horse ranch located on the San Joaquin River.
After one year of college I became a Sales and Marketing Director in the convention industry for 17 years. It was great to travel and live in the San Francisco Bay Area, Southern California, Seattle and Portland (Oregon)
Those years left me tired, stressed and burnt out from the 12 hour workdays, 6 days a week. The corporate politics, downsizing, hotel mergers, and working in a competive market that didn't value team-work, coaching and mentoring left me dis-illusioned, skeptical and unfulfilled.
I longed to become an entepreneur and own my own business, but didn't want to be tied down to a "brick and mortar" building and employees that would own me. So in the spring of 1998 I began to look into the many Home Based Business Opportunities that were available.
By fall of that year I began my Network Marketing Career in a (then) 23 year old nutrion and weight loss company that was and is a huge powerhose giant. I was with them for 5 years learned, taught, coached and lead a great team.
Those first 5 years instilled the discipline and fundamentals needed to succeed in our industry. I also learned exactly wat I wanted in a company, leadership and product that would allow me to coach and develop more leaders and team members that could achieve their dreams faster and easier.
I made that change in April 2003, when I discovered our gourmet candle company, Scent-Sations (Mia Bella Candles)
